If your GIF is under 500 kb but still won't work on tumblr, you'll have to either delete some unneccessary frames or resize it to make it smaller until it works. I personally don't choose anything below "GIF 64 Dithered" so I suggest resizing instead so that your GIF is in higher quality. But if yours is above 500 kb, then you'll have to either make the GIF smaller or change the "Preset" which is hard to explain what it does, but it basically will make the size smaller by choosing certain colors to show in the GIF. In my case, it is well under and will work on tumblr. To save the GIF for it to work on tumblr, go to File-> Save for Web & Devices and check to make sure the GIF is at least under 500 kb. Now that they're all selected, use the "Move Tool" to move the GIF where you want it, I'm putting mine in the corner. Where did I get stuck After making my GIF I wanted to add a wav-sound file but dont know how exactly. Note: I would like to save the GIF including the audio fragment in 1 format. To move it where you want it, click on the first frame and while holding down "Shift" click on the very last frameĪnd use this same method to click on the "Layers" of your GIF on the side, in my case, Layers #2-15 (NOTE: Make sure you select only the layers that are part of your moving GIF, that way you can only move the GIF and not the entire picture) I want to add audio to my GIF in CS5 and would like you to tell me how I can do this. Now your GIF is in the middle, on top of your picture.

First it will look like it hid your GIF (or at least that's what I thought when I was figuring this out OTL) but all you have to do is select Frame 1 on the timeline & click on the little trash can to delete it

Then press "Ctrl + V" to paste it onto the GIF. Now, go back to the picture and use the rectangle tool to select the entire picture & press "Ctrl + C" to copy it. Now, change the canvas size of the GIF to the size of the picture you want to place the GIF on This will turn all of your layers into frames in an animation. all of your images may be jumbled into one, so what you should do is go to the top right of that timeline and look for the menu icon (looks like an arrow pointing down will four lines), click it, and then select 'Make frames from layers'. Next, open the GIF you want to put on the picture, and make sure you are in "Motion" mode (this way you can edit each frame of the GIF) In Photoshop CS5, if you go to Window>Animation, a snazzy little timeline will appear at the bottom of your screen. Then, open the picture you want to put a GIF on
